Argentine Tango At Maine Ballroom

Argentine Tango Workshops on Saturday are appropriate for all levels of tango dancers, whether you have never done a step of tango or are an experienced dancer who knows the importance of improving your technique and musicality. Workshops on Sunday assume some knowledge of the basics of Argentine tango. Cost is $20 each workshop or  $35 each day or $65 both days all 4 workshops.

Maine Ballroom offers on-site individual and group instruction to students of all ages in waltz, foxtrot, tango, rumba, cha cha,  swing,  and many other dances including Country and Latin Line Dancing.  We also offers classes off site to local businesses, adult education programs, high schools, colleges and private groups.  Our instructors teach both American and International style ballroom and continue to receive training from leading professionals from throughout North America.  Studio staff and students often  perform for  nursing homes, fund raisers, educational events, and downtown Portland celebrations.
