Since 1986 bringing the joy of ballroom dancing to southern Maine

Do you have a group that needs a large rehearsal space? Do you have a meeting or function coming up and need a space to hold it in? We rent out the studio when it is not otherwise in use. Please contact us for information and fees.

Maine Ballroom offers on-site individual and group instruction to students of all ages in waltz, foxtrot, tango, rumba, cha cha,  swing,  and many other dances including Country and Latin Line Dancing.  We also offers classes off site to local businesses, adult education programs, high schools, colleges and private groups.  Our instructors teach both American and International style ballroom and continue to receive training from leading professionals from throughout North America.  Studio staff and students often  perform for  nursing homes, fund raisers, educational events, and downtown Portland celebrations.
